Effective September 13, 2026
These terms cover quotes, orders, and production work through The Thread Factory Co. By requesting a quote or placing an order with us, you agree to them.
A quote is an estimate based on the garments, quantities, decoration method, and artwork described at the time it’s prepared, and is valid until the date shown on it. Pricing can change if the order’s specifics change after a quote is issued (a different quantity, garment, or decoration method, for example). An order is confirmed once you approve the quote, at which point pricing is locked in.
Some orders require a deposit before production begins; the remaining balance is due as specified on your invoice, and in all cases before a finished order ships or is picked up. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider.
You’re responsible for making sure any artwork or logo you provide is either your own or that you have the right to reproduce it. We reserve the right to decline artwork we reasonably believe infringes on someone else’s rights. For garments you supply yourself for decoration, we’ll handle them with care, but we’re not responsible for pre-existing defects or damage from normal decoration processes (e.g. minor shrinkage from heat).
Where we provide a digital proof for approval, production doesn’t start until you’ve approved it. Once approved, you’re responsible for the accuracy of what was shown: placement, colors, spelling, and sizing.
Turnaround times quoted are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by order volume, artwork approval delays, or supplier availability. We’ll let you know as early as possible if a real delay comes up.
Every order goes through quality control before it ships or is ready for pickup. If something is wrong due to a production error on our part, we’ll correct it at no cost to you. This doesn’t cover changes you request after artwork approval, or issues caused by inaccurate information provided to us.
Changes requested after you’ve approved a quote or proof may affect price and timeline, and may not be possible once production has started. If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. Deposits and any costs already incurred (e.g. materials ordered on your behalf) are generally non-refundable once production has begun.
Orders are available for pickup or shipped, per what you chose when the order was placed. Once an order ships, it’s in the carrier’s hands. We’ll help track down a shipping issue, but we’re not responsible for carrier delays or damage in transit beyond what the carrier itself covers.
Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We’re not responsible for indirect or consequential damages arising from a delay, defect, or error in production.
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in effect when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
