Effective September 13, 2026
This policy explains what information The Thread Factory Co (“we,” “us”) collects through thethreadfactoryco.com, why we collect it, and how it’s handled.
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
We also collect basic, anonymous usage data (which pages are visited and general traffic sources) through our own first-party analytics. This does not use tracking cookies and does not identify you personally; see “Analytics” below.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
A few third-party services help us run this business, and each only receives what it needs to do its job:
We track page views on our own site using a first-party, self-hosted system. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels. It identifies a browsing session with a temporary ID stored in your browser’s sessionStorage (cleared when you close the tab), not a persistent tracking cookie, and it isn’t shared with or sold to anyone.
We keep quote, order, and customer records for as long as reasonably needed for business, tax, and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information by contacting us (see below), and we’ll do so except where we’re required to keep records (e.g. completed transactions).
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop receiving marketing email from us (transactional emails about an active order will still be sent).
We may update this policy as our practices or the services we use change. Meaningful changes will be reflected with a new effective date at the top of this page.
Questions about this policy or your information? Reach out through our contact page, or by phone or email if you already have those on file with us.
